Who we are

We are UK-based 3D printer enthusiasts who got tired of thin, copy-paste "best of" lists that all recommend the same products. So we built 3D Printer Lab to compare every 3D printer worth considering on the things that actually matter - and to say plainly when something is not worth your money.

How we test and rate

Every review is built from verified manufacturer specifications, real owner feedback from thousands of UK buyers, and hands-on knowledge of what separates a good 3D printer from a frustrating one. Our scores weigh build quality, performance, consistency, ease of use and value - not how big the commission is.

• Specifications are taken from the manufacturer and cross-checked, never invented.
• Owner feedback from verified UK purchases shows how products hold up in real kitchens.
• Rankings in our buying guides are ordered on merit, then re-checked as prices and models change.

Editorial independence

Our verdicts are our own. A brand cannot pay to be featured, to rank higher, or to soften a review. If a popular product has real drawbacks, we say so.
