3D Printer Lab is a content site you can read without giving us any personal information. We do not require accounts, and we do not run a quiz or sign-up. If you choose to email us, we receive the information you put in that message (your email address and its contents) so we can reply.

Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use 3D Printer Lab. It sets cookies that collect anonymised usage data, helping us see which pages are popular and where visitors come from. The main cookies are:
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes anonymous users | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics | Maintains session state | 2 years |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Distinguishes anonymous users | 24 hours |
You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or block cookies in your browser settings, without losing access to any content.
Amazon and affiliate links
When you click a product link you are taken to Amazon.co.uk or another retailer, which has its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies. We do not control or have access to those cookies, and we do not receive any personal data about you from Amazon. Our affiliate tag simply lets the retailer attribute a qualifying purchase to us. See our affiliate disclosure for more.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share data only with the service providers that run our analytics and hosting, as needed to operate the site, or where required by law.
Data retention
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings (up to 14 months). Emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict our processing
- Withdraw consent at any time
